The Bride is somewhat meta, it is a crime drama romance mixed in with punk bars quasi musical dance numbers, some camp and all set in the 30s....it's all over the place tone wise......and that makes it bonkers and admirable. The acting and gore is great, the plot is thin but it starts getting tighter towards the end. This has has cult classic written all over it.
