Self Reliance has a great premise, a likable cast, a cute romance, but a totally choppy script. Jake Johnson runs with it as the lead, in his own film. It is jumbled but honestly it adds to the downward spiral he goes through. It still very much feels like a Hulu film thoughm kuje a fun one time watch that i honestly feel the most memorable part is Bill Wiff and Anna Kendrick.
