WandaVision

Every time there was too much MCU humor, we had a bit of darkness. Every time the plot wore thin, we had a bit of mystery. Every time the show felt like a chore, there was a payoff. I pretty much was going to give up after episode three of WandaVision but i stuck with it for the greater MCU. The humor works with the plot, even though the jokes doesn't always land, the plot pays off with the hex and this is the plot that should have mattered. The FBI/SWORD/Darcy/Monica stuff outside essentially makes them the audience, rendering alot of what we saw critic proof. There is alot to love with the sitcom moments but i wanted more MCU lore. Episodes 4 and 5 reward the fans, and from 6 on we get an MCU film unfolding on TV. Is it a groundbreaking sci fi mystery? No, but it is fun. Is this the Mandalorian of Marvel? Not quite but Disney did a good job of making TV their new focus right here. Most of the 2021 MCU films are meh, but 2022's Doctor Strange is easily my most anticipated and this show plays a factor!
