I was vastly against seeing Scream 7. Mainly for what happened to Melissa Barrera but the trailer looked bland and generic. Still wound up seeing it since my girlfriend and I talked about it and.....it's okay. The first 20 minutes or so drag but once it gets to the theatre rehearsal it picks up....and stays that way until the last 20 minutes or so. I liked that it tried something new and flipped the script but the end was so lackluster. Sidney has always been the weak link of the series so once more familiar faces pop up, it helps.
