The Super Mario Bros Movie was fantastic. It was fun, nostalgic, had heart and a simple story. The sequel is just the same. While I prefer the first this one still makes you have that awe and wonder that usually isn't present with many modern blockbusters. Colorful and imaginative, this is a perfect family film and a perfect video game film. Seeing this in a packed house full of kids and adults was perfect, it's how Star Wars is and how MCU used to be. Bring on the third, bring on a universe.
