No Mercy 2017

For my quick thoughts on where things will go and my thoughts on the PPV.

Elias defeated Apollo Crews. Decent Kick Off match, Elias needed the win here, Crews still isn't ready, Elias needs to be on SD, i think he would do better there.

Miz defeated Jason Jordan. Miz & The Miztorage vs the Shield? Maybe! Jordan going heel, let us hope. Decent match.

Finn Balor beat Bray Wyatt. This is how Wyatt should have always been booked, as a monster. Maybe him vs Braun is next? As for Balor, i hope the Bray program is over, maybe he will be in a program with Jordan? Who knows. Decent match.

Alexa Bliss beat Emma, Nia Jax, Bayley & Sasha Banks. Seeds were planted for Sasha vs Bayley. Nia was protected. Alexa is in line to drop the gold to Asuka.

The IELD beat the Bar. GREAT match. I hope Cesaro & Sheamus don't feud again....well right away. Cesaro busted his ass in this match.

Roman Reigns beat John Cena. Great match, wwe has been delivering on ppv, and this match told a story. Cena will probably start up with Samoa Joe next, Roman looks to be feuding with the Miz.

Enzo Amore beat Neville. This match, this fucking match ruined the card, Enzo doesn't deserve a title. Fuck this match, hopefully he either turns heel, or he loses it back right away.

Brock Lesnar beat Braun Strowman, a tad rushed but enjoyable. Will Brock be back for Survivor Series? Maybe not til the Royal Rumble? Braun needs to destroy tomorrow night.

Brad's Status

Hey all, i am sick, so blogging it up instead of vlogging it up. Brad's Status is a charming and solid little flick, the type of film that is a better script than film, but the cast helps carry it, the entire cast, especially Ben Stiller, were all really good in this. It could have easily been a documentary on father's taking their sons to college tours, cause that basically is what the film is.

Portlandia Season 7

I am still under the weather, so i am blogging today, i binged season 7 of Portlandia! The show is still great, less serialized than last year, which i was fine with, but there weren't as manIy outlandish incidents with the more outlandish characters. plus not as much hipster/Portland humor.

ROH Death Before Dishonor

Lately i have been doing vlogs, but i am feeling like total shit, so i am back to blogging for my next few pieces. The Briscoes beating The Kingdom made sense for what happened later, but Jay turning i think should have happened here. Sure it is not as impactful but it would have given us a decent Kingdom vs Bullet Club match, and would further cement BC as faces. Speaking of BC, Maty Scurll vs Chuck Taylor was one of the best of the night, but best of the night went to fellow Bullet Clubbers The Young Bucks in their match with the Motor City Machine Guns, these two teams in a program with the Addiction is familiar but i never complained about Edge & Christian, The Hardyz and the Dudleyz having multiple triple threat feuds. Cody'd title defense against Suzuki was a bit underwhelming, but still rather solid. I don't like that Bullet Club is pretty much a face stable everywhere except ROH TV, Cody is a perfect heel, he needs to be on his own. Other matches, Punishment Martinez, is going to go far. Kenny King deserves the TV title win, If Jay Lathal is indeed leaving, then Silas Young's victory makes perfect sense, and it was a damn fine match.

IT

This is a brilliant film, not just a brilliant horror film, a brilliant film! From the moment the music kicks in you are a ride. All the acting is phenomenal, especially for such young actors. You believe they are brothers, you believe they are friends. It is a film about friendship, and being set in the 80s you buy into these kids being nerdy and hanging out. The soundtrack is pure brilliance, one of the best of the year if not of the year. Oh yeah, this is also a horror film and it is quite effective. Pennywise delivers in this, he feels like a threat. The film is disturbing yet fun, it is my favorite of the year.
