Relic is one of the slowest burn horror films in quite some time. During said burn you get wrapped up psychologically, it is atmospheric and builds tension. When it feels like nothing is happening something is still stirring and the final act is when shit hit the fan. Is it worth all the hype it has received, no, but it still is worth popping on late at night, even just for the score alone!
