Lucky(Shudder) is a home invasion/slasher film with a slight time loop twist. The twists can't be said without spoilers, but what can be said is the film's message. It tackles alot of topical issues with toxic relationships, victim blaming, anxiety, and sexism. Part satire, the film shines a light on these topics in guise of horror tropes, if you want metaphors, you got them, if you want blood, you got it. Shudder's best(original) in months!
