Osgood Perkins finally won me over with Longlegs, his follow up, The Monkey is totally different then the rest of his work. Here he embraces full insanity and craft a bonkers and deranged tale but the story is to be desired what truly carries this film is the kills. There are some gnarly moments and that is key in the Monkey.
