On paper City Wide Fever has a great premise. A film student finds a USB with info on a forgotten giallo director and upon digging for info, people begin to die. It's ahot on video and pure trash, and as someone that loves shot on video and trash.....this wasn't the film for it. Giallo films are sleazy yet beautiful. This film has sleaze but the video aspect takes away the beauty. The plot makes no sense and thr acting is awful. This would have been better with a rewrite and a bigger budget. I admire this film but the 73 minute run time felt like 2 hours.
