The Kitchen is a film that had a decent trailer, but even with AMC A List i still was weary of it due to the reviews. It being a DC film i still sought it out today and gave it a rent. This is an uneven and a mess of a film that so badly wants to be a Martin Scorsese picture. It has seem decent moments of violence and a killer soundtrack but the script is a mess, the acting is uninspired and the film itself just feels like a giant missed opportunity.
