Casting horror icons in slashers is a dime a dozen these days but setting a film around Halloween always gains my interest. After a suggestion from a friend i decided to check out Candy Corn, and much like the candy it self it is okay, if someone has it i will eat it/watch it, but i wouldn't want to spend money on it. Usually in slashers we can somewhat enjoy seeing douche bags die, but here every one is so despicable and mean spirited that it sucks all enjoyment out, and for a film with the greatest holiday of the year it truly should have had a funner vibe, and if not atleast be an excellent film, this is neither. It is good, i liked it but this film doesn't have the love that i give October 31st.
