The Pale Door

The Pale Door is an awesome slice of southern gothic horror. The atmospheric tale of outlaws vs a brothel of witches is oozing is blood, boobs and nods to the Evil Dead. I kept imagining Ethan Hawke, Josh Brolin, and Walton Goggins in the roles but honestly the cast they had was perfect for it, instead of star power it relies on chemistry, scenery and effects! Instead of robbers on the run hiding at the Titty Twister and attacked by vampires in From Dusk til Dawn we get train robbers on the run hiding in a secret town's brothel attacked by demonic witches. It makes me wish we get more horror westerns.
