Flux Gourmet, the latest from Shudder, is another step in the right direction. IFC films release, oozing in style both from a directors standpoint and the sets & costuming and delivers solid acting through a weird script. It is pretentious as fuck but it sort of works here due to the subject matter. A collective records the sounds of the culinary arts. For those that attend alot of galleries these are people we all know, some we are highly annoyed by, some we find fascinating. That is this film in a nut shell, annoying yet fascinating.
