Decision to Leave

Park Chan Wook is a master craftsman. He always knocks it out with the characters and makes his story telling gripping. His latest, Decision to Leave, has quite a bit of pacing issues, could have trimmed maybe 30 minutes, but it feels like his De Palma film follow up to his last De Palma film, Parasite. Totally different films but they would work well as a double bill. I am quite shocked how under the radar this one flew considering how well received Parasite was. I caught it on Mubi, which you can currently get $1 for 3 months, loaded with indie & foreign gems!
