Martin Scorsese you have to admire, he is a brilliant filmmaker and i tend to agree with his views on alot of modern cinema. However modern cinema does not have to be 3.5 hours long and feel like there are plot holes because it was supposed to be 5 hours. It feels convoluted and messy even though it looks beautiful. The acting is great and this is an easier pill to swallow than The Irishman and Silence but it still falls on the lower end of my Scorsese films.
