A Quiet Place

This is one of the most gripping, tense, and best films i have seen in a while. Fantastic acting from all involved, great creature designs, and a brilliant concept. I feared this would be a Cloverfield flick, i was out of town when it came out, but i knew if it was i would have heard, hell i would have heard out of SXSW, but being a stand alone film, makes it even better. I hope it doesn't get a sequel, even though i would still go see it, it is a perfect film on it's own legs. You legit feel fear for the characters, and you begin to connect with them through sign language and learn about their disconnect through guilt from the past. There is definitely heart in this film, not just that but it is thoughtful too. The real meat & potatoes comes from the tension though, this film knows how to build tension. The ending I loved, sacrifice & heroes dying is a thing i love in film.
