Usually if the pilot is just so so i give up on a series. The pilot here was indeed so so but it had a decent ending. We had shitty weather in Omaha, so i decided to watch the rest of the series. It isn't a perfect show by any means, but it is a good show. The cast is good, the effects are good, the plot is decent, maybe not enough for an entire season but they make it work. I found most of the show was too colonized however the finale course corrected everything and truly made the crew lost in space.
