I have not seen the original The Guilty, but after seeing the Antoine Fuqua version i now need to. I hear it is pretty close in terms of dialogue(just swapping for American lingo) but the first had alot of love and this remake rightfully does too. This is in real time, we follow Jake Gyllenhaal's character as a disgraced cop turned dispatcher as he goes through various calls until one completely emerges him. With the exception of some coworkers we mainly just see him, however we hear a great cast on the other lines. The voice cast is incredible, and they all do fantastic jobs building tension. A gripping low production with an A list cast that takes you on a journey. These calls grow & break the mind and Gyllenhaal gives his best performance since probably Nightcrawler.
