I love Bob Ross, i find him comforting, when i saw Owen Wilson was going to be in a film about a painter inspired by Ross i was in. Then the trailer came out and i wasn't sure the vibe....now i have seen it and i am still unsure. Parts of it feel like it wants to be a zany film in the mold of Wet Hot American Summer other times it wants to be a bit more grounded. It feels as if it was going for a modern Wes Anderson vibe but missed the goal. There was one sight gag with painted trees on a porch that i cracked up at. It's a fun time but a mess.
