Ghost Stories was a good film that seemingly has gone under the radar. It started off really well, with a reality show that debunks haunting. The first segment has a great aesthetic and some genuine good jump scares. The second segment begins in a super creepy way but the end result seems like a joke. The third segment begins pretty good, and ends in a surreal way but it doesn't seem to know what to do with the surreal nature. and the film then turns into an entirely different flick. I love the aspect of the human mind and subconscious thoughts but the film felt like David Lynch lite, kinda of like someone that wasn't too familiar with Lynch but wanted to make a film that resembled his work. It was good, it was entertaining, but it needed to decide what type of film it was, and run with it.
