I didn't know that much about Ms. Marvel going in to her series. I knew her ethnicity and some of her powers, but i never read the comics, i think she may have popped up in a couple crossovers in recent years but i was going in relatively blind. I thought the trailer looked very CW and figured this might be an MCU show to struggle with. However the pilot is easily the best of all the MCU shows, it is fun, fast paced, whimsical and colorful as fuck. Marvel had the chance to let Edgar Wright direct Ant Man but it fell through, Ms. Marvel feels like an Edgar Wright film. The quirks, the editing, it feels pure Scott Pilgrim. As the show went on it introduced more characters and more lore and sets up future films. This is easily my favorite of all the MCU TV series.
