Stranger Things 4

Stranger Things season 4 might just be the best season yet. Some characters regressed in season 3, but this season fixed all that. On top of that we had brand new characters that surpassed some of the originals. The plots were fantastic, taking various factions of characters and placing them in various parts of the world. This season's plots are dark and we get many brutal scenes, this has to be the goriest season yet. The soundtrack, as usual, is amazing, and it actually plays a factor this time around. Tonally it is close to It, and A Nightmare on Elm Street, and not just cause of a certain role. Season 1 is Stranger Things being a quasi indie film, S2 was them with a budget, s3 was the spring/fall release, but s4 is full on blockbuster. At times i wish Don Coscarelli would have had a great budget to make Phantasm like this. We see three different world and it is all gloriously nightmarish. This season has so much fucking heart, the bonds you see with the characters translates over to the viewer, you get emotional this season. This is the most i have been emotionally invested in characters since Lost. It's a whirlwind of emotions and truly feels epic. Here they have crafted a new horror villain icon and for this show it is well deserved.  The final season could possibly break our hearts, make us joyous or a combination at the same time, and even if it takes 4 years it will be worth the wait.
