Gareth Evans came into my world with the Raid, and honestly, i was underwhelmed by it. The second one was more of the same, all the stuff i found dull in the first was more dull in it, all the stuff i loved in the first, i loved more in it. With his latest, the Apostle, it adds to a list of dull, boring and pretentious netflix movies. This one is better than most of the crappy netflix movies, but fuck, this might be the most boring film i've seen in some time.
