I love Mike Flanagan. His films are good to great as are his shows. Haunting on Hill House & Bly Manor were great but after Doctor Sleep i wish he stuck with film. Midnight Mass has interesting characters, and an aura of mystery but not much happens until the final episode. We get teases and glimpses, but sometimes a slow burn needs to give a little more. The final episode gave us the climax we desired but the first 6 were quite the struggle to get through. Good acting, good imagery, just moved at a snails pace.
